Will you forgive me?

My rainbow has lost its red
My tears has formed a pool
I lie down crying in my bed
She made me feel like a fool!

What was the mistake I did?
Why this severe punishment?
I removed open my heart's lid.
You subjected me to solitary confinement.

I treated you like my sister,
I didn't hide my true self.
You told "Get the hell out of my life mister!"
Now I'm like a ragged, useless bookshelf.

You messaged me, you called me
But you tell that I'm pestering.
You abuse me, you accuse me
Telling that I don't know manners.

When you told me to end
Whatever I started,
I didn't know it applied to our relationship also.
If being truthful is a sin,
I'm the worst sinner in this whole universe.

P.S: Hey people... I've uploaded this poem just because a friend of mine named Suresh Padmaraj told it is nice. whatever happened related to this has been forgotten by me long ago... so don't think that I'm filled with grief.. I'm happy as always.. In fact I realized only later that I've wasted precious time thinking about the whole incident..

Tribute To The Tall One

Serenity of the birds that fly
Yonder that seems to be high
Everything that god has made
Diamond,coral,ruby,jade

Matchless are these to you my friend
Only you are my best chum till the end
Humbleness resides in you,like
A blade of grass with a drop of dew
Majestic,triumphant,glorious guy
May your fame reach the sky
Ere the days,i saw thou
Did I live, like an arrow devoid of a bow

Simplicity and your sweet attitude
Are going to lift you to a higher altitude
Finding a friend like you is a miracle
Watchful eyes of god will help you reach the pinnacle
A person much valuable than diamond mines(to me)
Now read the initial letters of the above lines.

Acrostics

An acrostic is a poem or other writing in an alphabetic script, in which the first letter, syllable or word of each line, paragraph or other recurring feature in the text spells out another message.

For example:
Wisdom systemized in a complex net
Information metropolis is set
Knowledge super way spins in liberty
I learn many things out of rafferty
People, events, places, things; organized
Exposed, refined, edited, scrutinized
Deleted, published; found truth, accepted
Information errors intercepted
An ingenuity unexcepted! (Courtesy: Wikipedia)

The poems: Cheer personified, Long live the brother hood, Sweet addictive poison, Tribute to the tall one, An ode to the Bengal Tiger(refer to blog)are all acrostic poems. I fell in love with this style of poetry and hence I adopted it. Commments are always welcome

Sweet Addictive Poison

Under the blue canopy of the vast sky,

Kissing the Earth, are the roots of a tree.

A tree that has never shed its leaves.

Rejoicing the glory of true friendship,

Thousands of larks perch upon it.

High above from the Ether,

Innumerable angels sing songs of praise for the

King of hearts and connoisseur of arts.

Sweet is his nature,

Addictive is his friendship; and

Poison becomes elixir, when he beholds it.

Cheer personified

Bringing life to colours,
Spreading cheers all over,
Inviting happiness into our minds and
Vacating sorrow from our hearts
A classroom without you is incomplete.
Never failing to invoke laughter is your unmatchable feat.
Erupting with humour always,
Sketching many a happy moment in our lives,
Art is a slave in your hand,
None of our memories will vanish like footprints on sand.

Long Live the Brotherhood

Musical notes running through your veins,
Bring joy wherever you go.
Allowing me to make fun of you,
Laughing for my dumbest jokes,
All cannot get a brother like you,
Skilful artists like you are very few.
Unchanging is your sweet nature.
Being cheerful is your greatest feature.
Remaining as the same brother I saw as a kid,
Always ready to come to my aid.
Many have come and many have gone.
Affecting me in the best way they can, but
None can ever replace your slot,
In the unseen depth of my loving heart.
A caring brother and a truthful friend.
May God keep you happy till the end.

Violence- the language of the weak

"Beat him to pulp! Beat him to pulp!"

Rants the ruffian on top of his voice.

Where is humanity?

Where is fraternity?

When love is lying dead in a grave.

When there is no value to the invaluable life.

The hands that ought to be holding pens

Are wielding highly lethal weapons.

Where is the nation heading towards?

When lawmakers are turning into lawbreakers.

The cruelty, the violence in their heart

Erupting out like volcanoes

Brutality flowing through their veins

The answer for which no one knows.

Always hungry for adversity

But still we say, "Unity in diversity".

When will there be a righteous end

To this inhumane, shameful, foolish trend?

A respect for human life is all that we ask.

Why has being compassionate become a Herculean task?

Pain at the sight of divine beauty

The moon that plays peekaboo with the clouds

Tells me thousand tales of beauty.

Milky white in its complexion,

It makes me go crazy.

Instant love, insane glee,

Is what the moon offers.

Casting on us its magic spell,

Alluring us with its snow-white shell,

It is the best companion of a loner.

I wish I were its owner.

Whatever I've beheld with my eyes,

In this trivial span of human life,

Is not as gracious as the moon.

This harbinger of joy and a poor child's toy,

Is undoubtedly nature's greatest boon.

Perched upon the expansive space,

Anointing the world with its pure silvery rays,

It has brought many a change in history,

Its true nature will remain a mystery.

An Ode to the Bengal Tiger

Big and ferocious is this beast.
Enchanting big cat of the East.
Nature's conundrum in its stripes,
Growling at us boldly.
A matter of pride for India,
Living in exile sadly.

Tired of being hunted down,
It ceased roaming around freely.
Going down in its population and
'Endangered' tag pinned on it, it is
Roaring for its revival and
Struggling for its survival.

The Ecstasy of Art

Holding your outstretched hands,
I touch the peak of absolute ecstasy.
Never have I lost myself
As much as I have, when you are with me
Whichever form you may be in
Your natural charm has never failed to appease me;
Thou art art my definition of happiness.

Rendering pleasure till the last cell of my body
I'm thankful to my senses,
That I can enjoy you in your full glory.
Many a man would have mastered you,
But the very thought that you chose me
Makes me leap towards the sky.
A medicine for a pain-stricken heart,
A voice for my unspoken thoughts.

Thou art art my definition of happiness.
- Mr.ClAiRvOyAnT

Broken- the sorrow of losing a friend

Your memories in my mind,
Strewn all over like crisp autumn leaves on the ground.
I can neither restore them nor turn them green.
New foliage may occupy the branches
But the scars left behind
As the signs of the lush greenery look at me mockingly.
I stand gazing at the leaves, finding solace in them.
I cannot relive those moments but
I can recollect them for sure.
The minute details and the happy moments run in my mind
Like the veins of the leaves.
Their sharp edges stab me mercilessly.
I can tolerate the pain no more.
I need a welcome change.
A gentle breeze to soothe my heart or
A gust of wind to blow the leaves away.
