Acrostics

An acrostic is a poem or other writing in an alphabetic script, in which the first letter, syllable or word of each line, paragraph or other recurring feature in the text spells out another message.

For example:
Wisdom systemized in a complex net
Information metropolis is set
Knowledge super way spins in liberty
I learn many things out of rafferty
People, events, places, things; organized
Exposed, refined, edited, scrutinized
Deleted, published; found truth, accepted
Information errors intercepted
An ingenuity unexcepted! (Courtesy: Wikipedia)

The poems: Cheer personified, Long live the brother hood, Sweet addictive poison, Tribute to the tall one, An ode to the Bengal Tiger(refer to blog)are all acrostic poems. I fell in love with this style of poetry and hence I adopted it. Commments are always welcome

Cheer personified

Bringing life to colours,
Spreading cheers all over,
Inviting happiness into our minds and
Vacating sorrow from our hearts
A classroom without you is incomplete.
Never failing to invoke laughter is your unmatchable feat.
Erupting with humour always,
Sketching many a happy moment in our lives,
Art is a slave in your hand,
None of our memories will vanish like footprints on sand.

Long Live the Brotherhood

Musical notes running through your veins,
Bring joy wherever you go.
Allowing me to make fun of you,
Laughing for my dumbest jokes,
All cannot get a brother like you,
Skilful artists like you are very few.
Unchanging is your sweet nature.
Being cheerful is your greatest feature.
Remaining as the same brother I saw as a kid,
Always ready to come to my aid.
Many have come and many have gone.
Affecting me in the best way they can, but
None can ever replace your slot,
In the unseen depth of my loving heart.
A caring brother and a truthful friend.
May God keep you happy till the end.
